Terms of Service — Postiz Akorda

Effective date: 6 September 2026 · Last updated: 6 September 2026

These terms govern the use of Postiz Akorda (postiz.akorda.es), a private, self-hosted Postiz instance used internally to manage, prepare, schedule and publish content to the authorized social-media accounts of Akorda and its projects, including TikTok accounts connected through TikTok Login Kit and the Content Posting API. By accessing or using this instance you agree to these terms.

1. Operator of this instance

Postiz Akorda is operated by Albert Álvarez Estellés, self-employed (autónomo) in Spain, based in Valencia (Spain), operating under the Akorda brand (akorda.es). Contact email: [email protected]. Phone: +34 624 724 746. Contact for any question about these terms: ' + LEGAL_CONTACT_EMAIL + '.

Postiz Akorda is an independent, self-hosted deployment of the open-source Postiz software. It is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by the Postiz Cloud service, TikTok, or any other social-media platform.

2. Description of the service and private nature

The service provides tools to prepare, schedule, publish, review and analyze content for social-media accounts whose holders have authorized this instance, as well as media storage and team organization for that purpose.

This is a private, internal instance: it is not a public SaaS product, it does not offer open registration to the general public, and access is restricted to authorized users. The operator may suspend access, disable registration, or discontinue the service at any time.

3. Authorized accounts only

You may only connect and publish to accounts that you own or that you are expressly authorized to manage. You must not connect third-party accounts without the holder permission, and you must disconnect accounts as soon as your authorization ends.

4. TikTok and third-party platform rules

Publishing through TikTok is subject to the TikTok Terms of Service (https://www.tiktok.com/legal/terms-of-service), the TikTok Community Guidelines, and any other applicable TikTok policies, as well as to the terms of each other connected platform. You undertake to comply with all of them when using this instance, including rules on branded content, AI-generated content labelling, music use and advertising disclosures.

5. Responsibility for published content

You are solely responsible for the content you prepare, schedule and publish through this instance, including its legality, accuracy and respect for the rights of third parties. The operator does not pre-moderate content and does not assume ownership of it.

6. Prohibited content and uses

The following are prohibited through this instance:

  • Illegal content, or content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, image or any other third-party rights.
  • Misleading, fraudulent, abusive, hateful, harassing or spam content, or any coordinated inauthentic behaviour.
  • Any use that violates the terms or rate limits of TikTok or of any connected platform, attempts to circumvent their technical restrictions, or exposes the instance integrations to suspension.
  • Uploading malware or attempting to gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure.

7. External platforms and availability

TikTok and the other connected platforms are external services: they may change, limit, suspend or discontinue their APIs, change their terms, or suspend accounts at their own discretion. The operator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service or of any integration, nor that a scheduled post will always be accepted or delivered on time by the destination platform.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided "as is". The operator is not liable for damages arising from the unavailability of the service, from decisions or changes made by third-party platforms (including failed or rejected posts, account suspensions or API changes), or from content published by users. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Spanish or EU consumer law where it applies.

9. Suspension or withdrawal of access

The operator may suspend or withdraw access to the instance, disconnect integrations, or delete content in case of misuse, breach of these terms, breach of a connected platform rules, security risk, or legal requirement.

10. Intellectual property

Content uploaded or created by users remains the property of its rightsholder. By using the service you grant the operator only the permission strictly necessary to store, process, display and transmit that content in order to provide the service, including sending it to the connected platforms you have selected. The Postiz software itself remains subject to its own open-source licence.

11. Revocation of the TikTok integration and data deletion

You may revoke the TikTok integration at any time by deleting the TikTok channel inside Postiz Akorda (which removes its access tokens from the database; disconnecting or disabling without deleting only pauses its use), directly in your TikTok app settings for authorized third-party applications, or by writing to [email protected]. When a channel is deleted in Postiz, its access tokens are removed from the database. Data deletion and your privacy rights are described in the Privacy Policy (https://postiz.akorda.es/privacy-policy).

12. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts and tribunals of Valencia (Spain), unless mandatory consumer-protection rules establish a different jurisdiction.

13. Contact

14. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated to reflect changes in the service or in the TikTok integration. The current version is always available at https://postiz.akorda.es/terms-of-service, with its effective and last-updated dates shown at the top. Continued use of the instance after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
